Founded by Tye, a Toronto renovator with over 20 years of experience working almost exclusively on older homes, reddiwerx was born out of a realization that for things to look great, they had to be straight.  To make this easier on his own projects, he developed tools, techniques and specialized assemblies to ensure things were straight every time, no matter what the starting point.  He developed reddiwex to help homeowners and contractors more easily get the same great results.

In the beginning, the work of straightening old framing was tedious and time consuming, and often had to be further corrected to get the results his clients expected. Tye saw the need to develop tools, reliable techniques, and specialized products and assemblies. 

Tye believes in the value of specialists in construction and renovation.  Some things in life need to done right the first time, especially when things can cost as much and take as long as they do.   Tye believes that his specialize skill and expertise in this kind of renovation back-framing, can help you get the best possible results from your project.
