Introducing handi·werx

Our goal is to provide you with as much value as possible when werking on your to-do-list, and our structure reflects what we feel is the optimum format:  a two man team consisting of a journeyman, and an assistant, werking in 4 hour blocks.  .

The team consists of a journeyman, and a helper.  The journeyman holds the skills to do the bulk of the werk, and the assistant helps them maximize their time.  This means the assistant sets up for each task, ensuring the work can proceed smoothly, and then at the end of each task, ensures thing are clean as you had them.

For us to be able to offer a cost effective format, we want to spend as much time as possible werking on your list, and as little time as possible with unproductive parts of the job like travel to and from.  For this reason, our teams werk a minimum of a full day per street.  This keeps cost down and value high.  We know that sometimes you just need a few things done to get your house back up to par, and we also know there is probably someone nearby who also needs the same, to make a productive and efficient day for all. 

  Due to the varied nature handiwerx tasks, in multiple areas of the house and/or house, means our teams are exposed to a lot of liability.  To complete control and protect each area to eliminate any and all risk of small damage from any misstep or unseen issue, is simply cost prohibitive.  Given this, our teams are subject to a great deal of  liability, which is why handiwerk can be unappealing to many in the industry.  Given that, we must ask you to sign a waiver to release us from any small damages relating to our werk. That said, we pride ourselves on being careful, conscientious, and attentive to the needs of you and your house, and make every single reasonable effort to protect from such things.  We don’t like mistakes anymore than you do.
